Comes to you enthusiastically and wants to play
Is not wary or scared of you or the breeder
Does not appear ‘pot-bellied’ - this could indicate a worm infestation
Inspect the puppy closelyand make sure it is clean and there is no sign of flea infestation
If the puppy has a long coat, make sure the coat is clean and free of tangles
Do not ever remove a puppy from its littermates until it has reached the age of 8 weeks
A pedigreed purebred dog can be listed on either the Main Register (blue certificate) or Limited Register (orange certificate).  

A dog on the Main Register (blue certificate) has full rights, meaning it is eligible for conformation showing, may be bred from to other Main Register dogs of the same breed and have their progeny registered as purebreds.

The Limited Register (orange certificate) is for dogs that are pedigreed but are ineligible to be shown at
